Features:
The 1838B is an infrared receiver in miniature for remote control and other applications that require a better rejection of ambient light. Separated preamplifier IC and diode PIN are mounted on a single device. The epoxy package contains a special IR filter. This module has an excellent performance even in applications of ambient light disturbed and provides protection against uncontrolled output impulses. The receiver can be powered from a 3.3 V or 5V supply and with only a data output pin allows to be easily used with many types of microcontrollers.
